Mari State University held a thematic educational forum on environmental issues
On March 14, the Russian Znanie Society launches the Smart Route, an educational lecture project in which experienced professionals from various fields will share their knowledge, experience, and inspiring success stories with young people. In one year Smart Route will visit over 130 cities and will cover every region of Russia.
The symbol of the project is a branded bus of the Russian Society "Znanie", which will make 30 trips. In one trip lecturers from "Znanie" will travel through five cities of one federal district.
On the grounds of the "Smart Route" guest speakers will share knowledge from the fields of culture and art, science, ecology, career, sports and charity. Lectures, master classes, workshops, panel discussions, quizzes, workshops, round tables, and debates await the participants. Information about the forums will be published on the website of the Russian Society "Znanie", to participate it is enough to register online.
"Last year the "Smart Route" format was very popular among young people: thanks to this project, the brand awareness of the "Znanie" Society among young people has increased to 35%. The mission of the project this year is to expand the geography of the thematic forums and qualitatively increase the reach of the audience, including through online broadcasts. We are going to hold educational events in the remotest cities of Russia, in order to reach every young person who wants to get knowledge from the first hands. That's why we expect at least 50 thousand people to attend the "Smart Route" forums and expect millions of viewers to watch them in broadcasts," Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian "Knowledge" Society, commented on the project launch.
On March 15, Mari State University held the thematic educational forum, devoted to urgent problems of ecology. The forum was organized by the Russian Society "Knowledge". More than 100 teachers, students and pupils from Mari State University participated in the forum.
During the lectures, the invited experts for several hours told the forum participants about climate change and related threats, carbon-free economy, renewable energy technologies, alternative energy sources, carbon landfills and farms, energy-efficient homes.
The society will be able to share its hypotheses on how artificial intelligence and computer technology affect our lives today and what we can expect from this industry in the near future, how the Internet of Things (concepts of data transfer between physical objects ("things") is arranged, and what new prospects for interaction with the world are offered by virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality.
